If Grand Duchess Anastasia Survived, might she have married King Edward VIII?

If Anastasia was a suitable queen, and married Edward without a scandal like he did with Wallis, how would both react to the rise of Hitler?

I assume Edward would react not much differently than in OTL, however I think Anastasia might be negative toward Hitler considering some of his anti-Russian/Slavic rhetoric. Plus I suspect Hitler himself would not have a good opinion of Anastasia either, despite her German blood, considering her brother's sickness and the possibility of her passing it on.

More intresting is if Edward and Anastasia has even one child who will ascend to throne and if there is still Cold War how living descendant of Nicholas II in British Throne would affect to CW.

I think the most likely place of exile would be Copenhagen at least early on, there her grandmother would likely seek a suitable match for her, introducing her to the various royal houses of Europe.

If Anastasia does not have a child or her child does not survive childhood then Edward would be succeeded by Elizabeth by default (If Edward still outlives his brother).
What would be interesting is Anastasia developing a close relationship with Elizabeth and Margaret because they remind her of her sisters.

Elizabeth would still become Queen. Edward was most likely infertile. It would be interesting to see how Elizabeth would change having a more stable relationship with Edward, who in OTL was one of her favorite family member as well as knowing Anastaisa. I doubt Edward would outlive Albert/George, although Albert wouldn't be King George VI for long either.

OTL a lot of exile White Russians fled to Shanghai, here, in addition, we might see the British absorb more of the Russians at home and abroad. I think that has far more intrigue o it than merely having a Russian Princess (Queen), you now put the British in the thick of Russian domestic fears and foreign cleansing operations. Perhaps even enough to deeply hurt any alliance against the Germans.

The royal family would need 24 hour guard to prevent KGB assassins for murdering all of them.
NKVD.
While that's one route, is there a possibility that the opposite route occurs and the UK sees the possibility of the romance to facilitate/make a gesture of detente with the USSR? Say that instead of Edward abdicating, the British government declares that Anastasia should formally surrender any claims the Romanov family has to the throne and dissolves the Russian monarchy in exchange for a British title and approval of the pairing, settling some of the Soviet fears of "reactionaries"?

Depends exactly when the marriage happens. After 1937 with Stalin feeling he has largely consolidated power is more likely. I doubt it would lead to any real détente but it also wouldn't sour relations further.

Stalin will simply ignore the surviving Grand Duchess. The Soviets will say that Anastasia is the child of a foreign born woman who is now more English than Russian. He will use propaganda to show how Russia “so much better under Comrade Stalin”.
In 1941 with the Nazi Invasion of the USSR things will get interesting. Stalin can blame the murders of the Romanovs on extremist Bolsheviks. He can always tell the British that those responsible for the Czar’s murder were executed a long time ago.
