Extremely unlikely that Operation Sealion would have succeeded, but if it did, and if the Nazis were booted out by 1945: would the Brexit vote have gone the other way? Discuss.

A wild Sealion appears!

[ ] Fight [ ] Bag
[ ] Althists [ ] Run

In all seriousness, the world would be so different in these two scenarios that one cannot logically follow the other.

If the Nazis were able to occupy the UK the butterflies arising from this would definitely preclude the EU in the incarnation that the UK voted to Leave last year from existing.

There might not be an EU or even a UK with this POD.

However, suffering from Nazi occupation does not make a country pro-EU - ask Norway.

The European Union wouldn't exist.

This is where you and Robert Harris disagree.
