We're closing in to the last leg of the world map, India and Africa. Now, since i don't know much about either, I leant a bit on some videos by Ollie Bye (Thank you).
Even with that however, I make no pretense of completeness.
This is Ollie Bye's video about India anyway:

By comparing Bob Hope's list and suggestion with Ollie Bye's video I came up with a rough scheme that should cover most if not all of Indian History with 12-15 colors (I hope).
First of all I started with the usual Major-Minor-Junior classification, then crossed it with what I thought were the main powers of Indian history, which I divided into four or five categories:

Vedic/Punjab
Hindu/Deccan
Buddhist
Muslim
[other]?

so I came up with Major Vedic, Minor Vedic, Junior Vedic, Major Hindu and so on.

Next, I'm going to sort all empires and kingdom on Bob Hope's list to see how each fit into any category, compare again with Ollie Bye's map and see if any more classification is needed.
(Not sure about the Chola, even if their influence was not so vast as, say, the Maurya, they seem to be pretty long lived. Does this make them into a "major" or "minor" power?)
I think Chola and Lahore will feature heavily into the Major Hindu, while the Islamic slot is pretty much filled.

Any correction or suggestion will be welcome as usual

No Indian dynasty is going to have that much influence but the Cholas are the only one to have any real foreign impact;

In fact, without it SE Asia would probably have little or no Indian/Hindu culture.

The indo-Greek kingdom can be represented through a combination of any secondary Indian and Greek colors. Do you think the Huna or Indo-Bactrians need a color?
