There have been both 120,000 & 240,000 years ice periods, the last OTL was a 120.
?So WI it had been a 240?
Whe would be some where around 132,000 into it, With another 108.000 years to go.
I Don't see this changing our escape from Africa 100,000 years ago.
Or our wiping our Neanderthal, and others cousins.
Whe would still have crossed the Bering [avenues thru ice along Pacific NW coast] into the enlarged Antilles, and the larger Isthmus.
And down Indonesia land bridges into Australia.
Whe would still have spent 50,000~70,000 years following the herds across the Russian/European Tundra
BUT-- 10~12,000 years ago whe would not have had a changing climate across North Africa and Mesopotamia, or the Yangtze or Yellow Rivers.
I think the Indus, Ganges, and Mekong rivers are going to be the Cradles of Civilization ITTL
