Ian Murray WI

Ian Murray was one of many Scottish Labour MPs when he was elected in 2010. In 2015, he was the only survivor of the SNP landslide. What if he lost in 2010 to the Liberal Democratic candidate, who in 2015 would in turn lose to the SNP?
What would the significance be of Labour being shut out of the Scottish delegation in Westminister?

Mainly psychological. Of course, the Shadow Scotland Secretary would have to be someone outside of Scotland, which would be a further humiliation, making Labour seem further removed from Scottish affairs, but that wouldnt be much more than an extra detail in the long run. The 2015 election was such a humiliation for Labour, having no seats isnt going to change everything versus having just the one.
