Hungarian victory at the battle of Trencin

If you have Frederick William I of Prussia get involved in Hungary, and perhaps actually use that beautiful and outrageously well-funded army of his, and then actually becomes the King of Hungary, you've just thrown a serious monkey wrench into 18th European history.

This would be a really really cool timeline.

Yes my thoughts exactly. I'm not sure if it would have a large enough effect on the WoSS's western theatre for the French to inherit most of the Spanish territories, but that combined with a Prusso-Hungary would be...different:D.

I would argue that a Prussia-Hungary would result much more likely in Austria retaking the Spanish throne as now a combination Austro-Spanish Monarchy isn't as threatening to Great Britain. If that didn't happen, I'd argue a similar end to the War of Spanish Succession as OTL, and after Austria and Prussia switch historic roles with Austria uniting Germany.
