Humayun dies in 1541 leads to Mughal collapse

IOTL in 1541 not only was Humayun driven out of India by Sher Shah Suri but had no heir. Alongside that, his younger brother Kamran Mirza was known for his brutality and unpopular among residents of the rump Mughal Empire. Humayun's other younger brother Hindal Mirza might take over, though for the sake of this scenario we assume that Hindal dies around OTL. With all of the important Mughal heirs dead or unable to take control, does this lead to Mughal collapse? If so, how does this impact India?

Hemu manages to solidify his Chandra dynasty empire, restoring a Hindu nation to the throne of northern India. He will most likely completely revolutionise the derelict military and economic structure the Delhi Sultanate had left and the Mughals had wrecked.

Bahram Khan, recorded to have despised the Mirza, will try and support Akbar once more but Kamran Mirza will fight him tooth and nail for it. Most likely the House of Timur will die out 'guests' in the court of Shah Tamasp as they rip each other to shreds.

What do we know about Hemu ? was he a big reformer ?

Honesty, it seem far more likely the Sur Empire would take the place of the Mughals. Sher Shah both was a able and skilled general (Conquering almost all of the Mughal empire and things was great.) as well as an efficient administrator. Akbar in fact copy most of Sher Shah's reforms and so on. Just let him live longer as to help solidify the empire, and to help his son Firuz Shah Suri to be older when he becomes Sultan and becomes a strong leader like his father.

The rest of Humayun brothers will roll over, or get beat down hard.

The Mughals would be remember as a one man and half band.

The Akbarnama is almost apologetic on the subject. It mentions that Hemu was a brilliant man with a great eye for money. However it does mention Hemu's idea to almost turn the Afghans into what we would call Cossacks. Give them lands such as Sher Shah had himself in Sasaram and allow them to act as a militarized social class that only pays tithes in soldiers and cavalry.
