Howard the duck hit movie

Okay. Howard the Duck had a budget of $37 million, and it earned about the same amount on the box-office. So why would they produce a sequel if it made EVEN less than in OTL? Also Howard the Duck was released in August 1986, but if you say so, I guess it was released earlier than OTL, and there would have to be some improvement on that Duck costume too. That was one of the major things the critics disliked.

This is one of the most implausible scenario's i've seen on this site, and I frequent ASB more than anything...

Maybe everything funny before HTD was butterflied away so it stands out as a classic or something?

in this case i would say ASD (alien space duck)

If they would be making a sequel, big chance it would be better than the original(it was kinda lame).
The original lacked good crew interaction, and they seem to miss the right approach every time by just a little.

Actually howard the duck would have been better for tv, it would have made a much more entertaining alien than ALF.
