WWII seemingly has endless talk of who “really” beat the Axis, and even has Weeaboos and Werhaboos.
I’d like to avoid most of that nationalist and fanboy measuring contests as best as possible can here, and keep things more civil.
Out of Britain, France, and Russia, what level of damage would you say each brought to the Central Powers? Or, whose actions were most vital to the CPs defeat?
Britain brought the money, brought the RN and blockade, brought a variety of allies, fought to the end, and fought on every front.
France held down the bulk of Germany’s army for much of the war, fought on several fronts, and fought to the end.
Russia was basically an island by itself, crippled Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire, weakens Germany, and their actions brought Romania and Serbia in.
