how would the Third Reich have carved up Eurasia?

Some way or how, Hitler's forces in the east and west get a foothold in the war and begin to win. In a similar fashion to Wolfenstein: The New Order. Nazi Germany carves up most of Eurasia Geographically. What is, in our timeline, although unlikely, German forces when in both the southern eastern and western France, and begin to build the first stage of the Third Reich, how would they build it. All Allied powers surrender unconditionally, that include to the United States, the United Kingdom, and the United Soviet Socialist Republics. if World War 2 was won by the axis, how would the German conquered land be divided up?

This is probably better off in ASB, but anyway...

Anything east of the Urals (or 70 longitude or Archangelsk-Astrakhan, depending on what source you use) is left to Japan and/or a rump Russian state. Anything west is carved into Reichskommissriats (the boundaries of which were largely planned OTL). Eventually, perhaps, the RKs, having been sufficiently settled by Germanic colonists (a doubtful prospect, since most Germans, let alone W. Europeans, had little interest in living in the East) are divided into Reichsgaue and formally annexed into Germany like much of Poland was OTL. IIRC, the Baltics and Crimea were at the top of the list, while Belarus, Russia and Ukraine would initially have islands of Germanic cities stretched along major roads/railways leading east.

Logistically anything East of the Volga was overly ambitious.

Presuming the border is at the Ural Mountains or the A-A line, then everything east would remain in the control of whatever rump Russian/Soviet state still existed, while everything west of it would be divided into several "Reichskommissariats" (basically colonies in name), these would have been R.K. Ukraine, R.K. Ostland, R.K. Moskowien and R.K. Kaukasus (the former two of which were created in real life during the war), Ostland would have basically been the Baltics plus Belarus and chunks of Western Russia, Ukraine would have included Ukraine and much of Southern Russia near the Caucasus region, Kaukasus would have included everything south of Ukraine (the border of which was somewhere south of Stalingrad) to the Turkish and Iranian borders, while Moskowien would have been the rest (with chunks possibly being allowed to be annexed by Finland).

Crimea and Baku would have been outright annexed to Germany proper.

The Soviet Union would have been divided into reichkomissarats. At first, the border with Russia was expected to be the a-a line (roughly the Volga river). This would have been at the end of Barbarossa, and if everything went how the Germans thought it would, the rest of the Soviet Union would be a cluster fuck. So after securing the a-a line the Germans would crawl their way up to the Ural Mountains, where they would make their "ost wall", a series of defenses spanning across the Europe-Asia border. After discussions with Japan, it was decided that the two would divide Russia along the Yenisei River, with Germany getting the Soviet stans' as well.

The reichskomisarriats planned were
Ukrainen
Ostland
Moskowien
Caucasus
Turkestan
Siberien

In reality, anything that was east of the a-a line (Volga river) was pretty much impossible to gain.

Well there are a few Nazi expand to the urals scenarios in the post1900 forum, most famous of which is CalBear's AngloAmericanNazi War. So I don't see why this would be moved to ASB.

Can we PLEASE get a mod to move this crap to ASB?

It isn't ASB. It is poorly thought out to the point of impossible and lacks a reasonable POD, making it extremely difficult to discuss, but it is not ASB.

ASB implies magic, evolutionary/geological POD, or other fantasy elements. This has none of those.

While an unconditional U.S. surrender is unlikely to the 99.99999999...% , that means that the base concept is poor and the scenario can be addressed in that manner, or ignored due to the lack of possibility, but it is not ASB.

Ok, the third Reich wins. Lets skip the POD, since we have legions of threads on this matter. Calbear has a nice TL where the Nazi win for a long time, so it gives you some idea of what could happen.

Now to a general analysis. We need to look at both what the Nazi wanted, and what could happen. The had very detailed and executed plans for killing of Jews. After winning, the same process is probably used to kill very large numbers of Slavs. More than 10 million.

But the rest of there plan was not really a plan, more like some broad ideas. As far as I can tell, most of the plans were never really looked at in detail by anyone above the rank of major. They were really were more like intentions to plan. Only one "ideal farming village" was setup during the war. It was a disaster since the Poles in the area simply fled.

The concept was basically recreating slavery. The Poles would be taught to count to 100, and few thousand word German vocabulary. They would farm using mostly manual labor since if you can't read, it is hard to fix a tractor.
Germans would basically be overseer. It is basically 1840 Alabama with worse land and Slavic Slaves. It would not have worked.

IMO, the end result of the Germans winning is basically Germans living in Greater Germany (Austria, Imperial German lands, Congress of Poland). East of there is a failed attempt to build a perfect Germany. It will be largely uninhabited except for things like strategic mines and hydro stations that will be made to work. The closest thing we have now is the area around Chernobyl. East of that will be some Russian rump states that are in theory a part of the German Reich.

Taking the assumption that the Nazis defeat the USSR and are in relatively complete control to the Urals, what happens to the east. I would assume in this scenario the war between Germany (and Italy) has ended, perhaps with one of those Halifax scenarios where there is an armistice after France falls. I would posit under these circumstances the UK does not go along with the US in embargoing oil to Japan, the Dutch government in exile can't go along with the embargo given the home country is now beyond redemption and lets assume the Nazis offer a free return home no penalty or POW status for Dutch forces in exile. Similarly Vichy is further empowered and the free French greatly diminished, so similar to OTL you end up with at least de facto Japanese control of Indochina so at this point petroleum, rice, and other important materials are available to Japan.

Under the above circumstances, plus a less cooperative Britain with respect to the Burma Road, Japan can continue the war in China without the need to seize the "southern resource area", so no need for Pearl harbor. US-Japanese relations may suck, but its not war.

The USSR is smacked down, no supplies from the UK or the USA and everything west of the Urals (including all their known oil) gone, it would not be a stretch for the Japanese to decide to take the Soviet Pacific coast and some territory north of Manchuria. This makes the rump USSR basically land-locked, and resource poor (in terms of what is known in 1940s). The area between however deep the Japanese care to go and the Urals. This area is a big empty place with no known value, and I expect the Germans (and Japanese) to restrict their interest in it to smacking any guerrilla concentrations.

As far as the Nazi occupied areas of the (former) USSR, while the colonization scheme will be a long time really working, they can frankly do whatever they want. They have no scruples, and between starvation and outright killings the population of Slavs will drop rapidly. For survivors, the choice is accepting slavery and living and eating, and families surviving, or dying perhaps unpleasantly. In this scenario, unlike slavery in the USA where, for most of the time, slaves were in relatively short supply, here you will have a large population to cull to get the needed number of slaves.

Given the size of the "stick" the Nazis are willing to use, even a small "carrot" will be seen as preferable.

Here's a wikipedia article that gives a good summary of the plan.

[URL="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axis_power_negotiations_on_the_division_of_Asia_during_World_War_II[/URL]

Japan wanted a border at 70 degrees east longitude. The German military leaders wanted a border that ran along the eastern border of Iran, the northern border of Afghanistan, the western border of China up to Tannu Tuva, and then northwards along the Yenisei river to the Arctic Ocean. This was so Germany a better defended frontier in Siberia, and control over the Kuznetsk industrial basin and the rich iron ore deposits of the eastern Ural mountains.

Hitler went with the Japanese plan because he didn't see Germany going grabbing any territory beyond the Urals.

Italy, besides the territory it had seized in the Balkans, would likely have gotten North Africa down to the Horn of Africa, most of Yemen, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

The Japanese wanted to divide Eurasia on longitude 70 degrees east, and Germany wanted to divide it on the Yenisei River, and the Tuvan, Chinese, Afghan, and Iranian Border.
This would mean that Germany would encompass all of Central Asia, and Central Siberia, likely Iran being a satellite state or ally. The Japanese would've gained Eastern Siberia, likely becoming a Government-General or Satellite.

With the Japanese Plan, Afghanistan and Balochistan would've become German Satellites (This division would've led to a very small part of Gujarat being owned by Germany), and Turkestan and Siberia being split in half.
