How would Ron Paul do?

Obama might, the same way Reagan agreed to debate Anderson. You try and raise the profile of your opponents spoiler whilst also making him look cowardly for not being willing to debate.

That's only because Anderson was polling in the 20%s at the time. RP gets no more than 1%, no question at all.

Only initially, by the time of the debates it was close to 15%. Paul might create enough early buzz, along with the "I'm not a Democrat or a Republican and you can vote for me" factor to do well in polls initially, even if that slumps. Still I doubt he would be in the debates but he would have a better chance than Johnson.

Johnson will probably get that, I think Paul would at least do better than Nader in 2000.

Moringing Edition interviewed a college student who said he was going to vote for Ron Paul. I suppose that means he is going to write him in. Can we hope for about ten million dissatisfied Republicans to follow suit.

No, we can't. The fact that a bunch of people from NPR found some Paulite on a college campus somewhere doesn't mean his vote totals will actually be noticeable.
