How would Mussolini's new roman empire look like?

After victory , how much lands do you think Bennito gonna get ? The mufti of jerusalem agreed with Hitler that after the war is won , most of the arabs will get their independance , do you think Hitler will stand in Italy's way especially since Italy will likely have control over Egypt snd Libya and i read that Mussolini was gonna give Palestine to the Vaticans

I am not sure if Italy gets much more what it actually captured. Hitler hardly want make the country too strong.

I think Hitler would probably disregard any agreement with the Arabs after he's become victorious and find the alliance with Italy more significant.

It depends on the degree of victory, as well as who gets defeated in the meanwhile.
I doubt Hitler would allow Italy to snag away Algeria from Vichy France, for example, but Tunisia and Egypt are likely to be annexed (there were reasonable urban Italian minorities there) as are Djibouti and the British Somaliland (to complete the AOI, Italy's East Africa domains). Anything further than that is unlikely to be gained, and even more unlikely to be retained; the Italian policy submitted by Mussolini wanted Sudan and Kenya from the UK too, but nothing further than that except for economical penetration and protection over an otherwise independant Middle East.
As for Europe, the wishlist is well-known - what was left of Slovenia, Dalmatia, control over the Balkans and the obligatory Savoy/Nice/Corsica/Malta.

Assuming they won the war... The point of interest is how badly is Britain defeated. White peace? Status quo on the battle field? Surrender with no sea lion? Sea lion? This depends on how big Moose's empire is. Assuming that Britain gives up most of its empire, Italy seizes Egypt, Tunesia, Sudan, Chad. The trst of Sub-Saharan Africa Moose wouldn't be able to take without large help from locals (lol) and Germany. Like they could try for Kenya and Uganda but probably not. Mufti is thrown to the side largely, but given Italy's relations with Muslims, they probably see Italian occupation as a lesser evil to German occupation. The Jews in Mandate Palestine (which Italy probably would have wanted) would have been split. Some would undertake guerrillawarfare, others would flee. From there, it depends on how generous Hitler (or whoever) is with Moose.

Here is what Mussolini wanted to annex in Africa. Egypt was going to be a puppet state so it isn't colored in. I think the Germans would probably have a lot influence in it as well, maybe more than Italy. The Suez Canal and maybe all of the Sinai was supposed to be directly annexed as well but I think that the Germans would have forced a condominium over it had it been taken.

Mussolini did not intend to give the Vatican all of Palestine, he thought about maybe giving ita few holy sites. This plan was dropped though. If the axis had taken the Middle East I think that Italy would have been given control/protectorate over Jordan and Palestine (and maybe coastal Syria). If coastal Syria had been given to Italy, the rest of it would have gone to Iraq. I think the Germans also wanted Syria and Iraq (with Kuwait) and possibly also the Levant as satellite states for themselves, which is why I'm not exactly sure what Italy would get.

As for the Arabian peninsula, Italy would have gotten control over the southern portion, annexing Aden. Yemen would be an Italian protectorate, as would Oman, which would be joined with South East Saudi Arabia and Qatar as another protectorate. They would also take direct control of islands in the Red Sea.

Here is the max of what Italy controlled in Europe during ww2, and probably the most they'd ever get. Greece was a puppet state (Hellenic Republic), Albania was greatly expanded and in personal union with Italy, Montenegro was a protectorate (in this map it is accidentally part of Albania) Dalmatia and parts of Slovenia annexed, and also shown are the areas of France occupied by Italy after Operation Anton. They also occupied half of Croatia Also noteworthy is that they wanted to create a "principality of the Pindus" out of Greek territory for Aromanians.

Italy also occupied part of Croatia until 1943, the areas left of the black line. You can also see areas they annexed on this map.

Besides that I know that Mussolini wanted Malta, and during the Spanish Civil War Italy occupied Majorica https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_occupation_of_Majorca according to this they also wanted to annex the Balearics and Cueta, a make Spain a client state.

I don't think Mussolini would have been able to extract many concessions out of Spain, considering as they'd probably join the Axis as the war wound to a close.
I do remember that post WWI, th Italians tried to get south western turkey. Would they attempt to try this or would they be prevented by the Germans?

The core areas they'd likely want would be centered on North Africa and the Balkans - getting the Third and Fourth shores as proper Italian Terra Firma was goal #1.

It's of interest that the areas Mussolini wanted to conquer were areas the Romans saw as the least useful. A new Roman Empire needs to go north in fertile land, not south into dirty desert.
