How would guerrilla warfare be like today if AK47's and its other AK series were invented?

AK-47's and it other later successors such as AK-12's, AK-74's, AK-104, etc. were invented by the Soviets and the Russians still manufacturer them today. They influenced and made a serious impact on guerrilla warfare.

My question is if they weren't invented how would guerrilla warfare be like then.

No AK-47s in the hands of guerillas means fewer automatic weapons, means fewer casualties per ambush/raid.

If guerillas were limited by bolt-action rifles (e.g. Boers circa 1900) they could kill fewer defenders at longer ranges.

The SKS becomes the favoured weapon of Soviet Russia's "Fraternal Allies". The FN-FAL retains it's status as the 'right arm of the Free World' while gaining the title of 'most widely produced firearm' with over 90 million built. And like OTL, the M-16 gradually begins to make inroads once the bugs are worked out.
