Following the fall of the Soviet Union, what if European Russia and Asian Russia divided, into two different countries of Siberia and Eurossiya (Placeholder name)?
The reason that obviously didn't happen in our timeline is because Post-Soviet Borders were determined by the SSR and SFSR borders, but if the Russian SFSR was divided into two different SSRs, would it be possible?
How would that Eurossiyan nation survive and manage over the next two decades of its existence; Would it strive to re-unite the Russians or Soviets, what ideology would it move to, how would it be considered by other European (and Asian) nations, as well as its fellow Siberia?
