If the central powers won WW1 ,how would the defence industry be .

I mean ,had Germany won WW2 ,Hitler had planned to make massive tanks .

Similarily ,if the CP had won WW1
how diffrent would weapons be .

How differently would it evolve .

(Sorry for the spelling mistakes ,typing on Phone)

Personnally I beleive that for the CP to win they have to win quickly - before 1st Ypers if not earlier - in fact probably win the Marne - and capture Paris!

So given the shortness of said war - very little would have been learned - maybe MMGs would be more appreciated

Aircraft for recon, communication and artillery spotting etc but probably no more than that

Certainly I doubt that there would have been any large major fleet clashes exposeing the strength and weaknesses of the given fleets or the need for tanks etc to cross no mans land

So a lot less change than OTL

So much depends on the HOW they win. Whatever tactics proved successful on the battlefield will be the basic routes pursued in the immediate future

As others say it depends on the nature of the victory

A quick 1914 victory is a lot different than a hard fought 1918 negotiated victory, is different than a 1916 victory or a 1915 victory or 1917 victory
