How to Save the Popular Front (Spanish Civil War)

Was there any way to prevent the Republican and Anarchist sides from turning on one another? I know there were ideological differences and frustration with mistrust, coordination, and so on.

But could they have perhaps compromised, with the Republicans promising some sort of autonomy post-war in exchange for better coordination from the Anarchists (or even some non-aggression pact)?

The Anarchists and Republicans never really “turned” on each other besides a few incidents on the local level, at the higher level it was more the Anarchists giving more and more ground to Republican authority (sometimes under coercion, sometimes not) until they’d basically been incorporated into the state.
