How to keep Sweden-Norway alive?

I know that the break was in 1905, but I assume the best POD would be sometime in the later 1800's. Anyhow, what changes would be best to keep the Kingdom of Sweden-Norway a live as long as possible?

given that Norwegians was only very reluctantly members of the union its somewhat tricky.

For background Denmark was forced doing Concert of Vienna to hand over Norway (as Denmark had been forced by Britain to join Napoleon) to Sweden, and when Norway said they didn't want to and declared independence (with a constitution and a elected king, who just happened to be the crown prince of Denmark), Sweden decided that they wouldn't accept that and went in with a conquering army.

Really though, its just far enough in the tailend of my knowledge interest in Scandinavia that i'm hard pressed giving good options.

Agreed.
Keeping Denmark-Norway alive would be MUCH easier.

Hell ... Even making Scandinavism succed, leading to a political union of Norway, Sweden and Denmark, might be easier to do. Part by giving Denmark a less nationalistic-idiotic political leadership doing and specially leading up to Second Scleswig War, and partly by having Sweden be much quicker on the ball in terms of mobilizing their military and following up their promises to ally with Denmark against Prussian aggession.

The best would be to go back to the 1600s and let Sweden waste less energy on wars on the continent and try to conquer Norway instead. Then not only would Norway be united with Sweden longer, but would also not have a constitution and would become much more integrated with Sweden.

What kept the Union going for as long as it did were the threat of Russia looming on the horizon.
Keep the tension high and you'd have the two countries stick it out.
Something like the Russians taking a very early interest in Svalbard or insisting on autocratic rule in the Finnish Grand Duchy or stronger Russian presence on Aaland Islands.
