How to keep Studebaker Canada alive to 2015?

This old post got me thinking https://www.alternatehistory.com/discussion/showthread.php?p=1466500#post1466500

After Studebaker USA closed down, the Canadian operation continued well into the 1960s. Here's a 1964 Lark on the Hamilton, ON production line.

IDK why some idiot put a sound track into this good vid.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQu7pJ4HSJI

One of the reasons Studebaker Canada closed down was apparently a lack of new engines, and some corporate malarky at the USA head office. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studebaker_Canada

Even by the late 1960s small brands of mass market cars can't survive. So, we need a buyer, to buy up the plant, production rights and brand, and then invest. To avoid it being merged and disappeared in the 1980s, I suggest it be a Canadian company, such as Bombardier Transport or Hawker Siddeley Canada. However per Wiki above there were interesting avenues considered with Datsun and VW.

As an example of Studebaker Canada moving onto other brands, here's the former Australian Triumph factory switching over to Toyotas.
