"How The Holy League Saved Christendom"

Basically, the premise here is that the Holy League was more unified and able to capitalize on their victory following the Battle of Lepanto by going through with plans to invade the Dardanelles and thus retake Constantinople from the Turks. What would have been the effect on Europe (psychological, political, military, religious, etc) and on the Turks?

They'll still need to deal with the Ottoman army, so any conquest of Constantinople is liable to be short-lived.

Nasty, though. I wouldn't want to be in town when the CHristian mercenaries pour in.
