In a Fatherland/AANW scenario where the Reich controls everything from France to the Urals, how successful would Nazi natalist policies be within a few decades?
IOTL the Reich had an award for mothers who had at least 4 kids (Bronze Cross), 6 kids (Silver Cross), 8 kids (Gold Cross), and a planned Diamond Cross for mothers who had either 12 or 16 kids. Not to mention the numerous financial incentives offered as well.
Would they be successful in indoctrinating the oncoming generations of girls and women into believing that raising large families was not only good but their ideological duty?
How many children on average would women have?
What would their number of births per 1000 people become?
In 1933 Nazi Germany had a birth rate of 14.7 and in 1939 it was 20.4. The lowest in the world currently is 6.60 births per 1000 (Monaco) and the highest is 44.80 (Niger).
