How successful could a German campaign in the Middle East be?

Let's say it's an Anglo American Nazi War type situation. By the end of 1943 Nazi Germany has defeated the Soviet Union and occupied all Soviet territory up to the Urals, with the remaining Soviet territory that exists behind east of the Urals forced to give annual reparations to the Reich.

What would they have a better chance at if they wanted to launch a campaign in the Middle East?

Launching it from over the Caucasus mountains or using Turkey as a base for the invasion?

This is of course assuming Turkey allows them to do it.

Anyway once the invasion is launched sometime between 1945 and 1950 into the Middle East, how successful would it be?

And what would their goals be? When do they stop and consolidate their gains?

At Iraq? Iran?

What could they do to ensure their campaign doesn't fall apart and their armies remain well equipped and supplied?

Would they take power for themselves in the nations their troops march into or would they set up satellite governments run by fascists/Nazi sympathizers?

More importantly what would the Allied response be? Specifically the British response?

They would not be very successful, end of logistics line. Middle East was planned to be in the Italian sphere and there would be no Ussr-german peace .Anything east of the A-A line would be warlord territory

You are creating a very far fetched scenario with an obvious Nazi-wank. How and why the Nazis defeat the USSR you do not explain so how do you expect people to anwer how succesfull a campaign into the Middle-East would be by this very fictional Germany? Do they have super soldiers or something?

For example, how come this victorious Germany isn't already in the Middle-East as they clearly won against the British in North Africa and taken control of the mediterranean. Where are the Italians in this? What is Turkey's stand point?

IIRC following the defeat of the soviet union, the plan was to attack the middle east from the north. Ideally after some strengthening of the railroad infrastructure, but nevertheless.

I'd say it goes fairly smooth, because the enemy, in this scenario, is already defeated 2 years post soviet collapse. Alternative, its a very active front were the heavy fighting is taking place (Germany vs. UK) and the invasion from the Mediterranean has a minor role.
This is were I think Calbear's TL had some oversight, so its not an accurate introduction.

The Soviets occupied practically the whole of nothern Iran with a starting point in the Caucasus, so that invasion route is presumably also open to the Germans after they finish off Soviet resistance there. This thrust from the newly-established Reichskommissariat Kaukasus would likely be supported by an additional thrust from Turkey, who would presumably be "persuaded" into the Nazi sphere post-Soviet collapse.
