How long the Shun Dynasty would last?

With the POD of 1644, where Li Zicheng established a new dynasty and lived long enough to be its first emperor, how long the Shun Dynasty would rule over China? Would they eventually follow the dynastic cycle like their predecessors?

Perhaps he is cleverer in dealing with Wu Sangui and is not so eager to kill the hostages. He still has to sort out paying and feeding the troops.

There would be huge problems to deal with in China: the ongoing Manchu threat, the climatic problems, and he has abolished the grain levy. If he goes through with land distribution, you could be looking at something as catastrophic as Mao's Great Leap Forward.

In Chinese history, there are initial short-lasting dynasties followed by one that lasts for several hundred years. I would not expect the Shun to last long beyond the first Emperor - so a Qin or Sui not a Han or Tang.
