If the peace negotiations failed and the Russian military was ordered to topple Sakashvilli, how long could the Georgian military hold out ? would they battle street by street in Tblisi ? or retreat into the mountains ?
They would be fighting, but they wouldn't last long. Georgian land forces didn't do too well against Russia. (Unless those US advisors were still there- or unless Cheney got Bush to use force there.)
