After years of war and the Nivelle Offensive of 1917, the french army of World War I was in a poor state, with notable mutinies. It was only after the entry of the US that the army was relieved.
So, what if the germans had a more favourable tectical-strategical position after Russia's surrender? Say, if they manage to capture Amiens or knock Italy out of the war sufficiently early.
My question is: could France end up suffering a civil war? Or would the french troops stop their mutinies if/after a semi-peace with Germany is signed?
How strong was socialist sentiment among the french populace in the later years of WWI?
Would Germany, Britain, and the US even allow such a thing to happen?

Yes--this.

Well, you can try looking at the French election results after the end of World War I to get a rough idea of this.

Would Germany, Britain, and the US even allow such a thing to happen?

Probably not.

Also, though, another possible direction for France after a WWI loss is a restoration of the French monarchy--either with the Orleanists or with the Bonapartes.
