How Helpful Would The Titanic Be During WWI?

Suppose the Titanic never sunk and it survived to fight during world war 1. How helpful would the ship have been during the time?

Assuming that she has a similar war career as the Olympic, the Titanic would have been very useful during the First World War. Remember, the Olympic actually rammed and sank a German U-Boat.

I don't think sinking U-boats was what troop ships were originally envisioned for. :p

Can you imagine what the reaction of readers here would be, if that had not happened and someone proposed it as a WI?

Anyhow, one thought comes to mind: If the Titanic didn't sink, then the various maritime regulations that resulted from the disaster might never get passed, and thus the Titanic (and other transports) carrying thousands of troops across the ocean wouldn't be any safer than the OTL's. That's a disturbing thought.

Just another troop or hospital ship, other than that no real impact. That is unless she met the same fate as the Lusatania, in which case depending on when and what she was doing it's possible but unlikely she could bring the US into the war earlier.

Or like her sister ship, Britannic.

Oh crap, yeah, that could have dire consequences.
