How does Napoleon get to India from Egypt?

Let’s handwave plausibility for a while.Suppose that the Nelson’s entire fleet was annihilated at the battle of the Nile, and Napoleon won every battle on land, how does he actually plan to get to India from Egypt?Does he plan to spend several years and construct a fleet in the Red Sea or disassemble the one in the Mediterranean and then reassemble it in the Red Sea?Or is he actually planning some sort of overland march from Egypt->Persia->India?

Well, that was how Alexander the Great got there...

Napoleon dreamed to reach Constantinople not India if I remember well... If India is involved likely is the third phase of his master plan (who will keep him busy for years and years and totally butterfly the French Empire)

So basically, his plan was to be some sort of Caesar/Pompey,as in he intended to found some sort of semi-independent empire outside of France?

I don't think Napoleon actually had a well thought out plan for the expedition. As for the most plausible route, he'd probably be best served by not invading Syria and stick with Tallyrand's public statements of the expedition's intentions to restore Egyptian authority to the Sultan Selim. Have him strike a deal with the Ottomans to get them to back France, and then maybe you can finagle the redirection of enough ships coming into the Red Sea for the Hajj to assemble sufficient transport. And maybe have them drag the ships across the Suez Strait if you're really ambitious
