How Could the South "Rise Again?"

Hello again lads and lasses,

My apologies for another Confederate States of America thread,(I'm bubbling more with questons than solid scenario at this point in my alternate history career ) but I have yet another question: what would be a scenario that would allow the CSA to "rise again", as it were? That is, with a POD that happens after the "first" civil war starts, what is a plausible scenario that would allow the south to secede again, say sometime before 1940? Understand that the second CSA only has to share the South with the first Confederacy: everything else about the country can be different.

In short, it can't. I can't really think of any. But I will say that it will get progressively harder as time goes on and technology develops.

Have Communism catch on amongst the blacks of the South, have the Jim Crow Laws be harsher, and when America sides with the Brits and Frenchies, but still loses due to trench warfare. Have many Southerners go there and die, the survivors is radicalized and gets the communist ideas from the blacks. When the Crash happens, the South "rises again", but it is not the Confederate States, but the Communist States.

Possibly a longer Reconstruction. Say, Hayes wins the election of 1876 outright, doesn't have to make concessions to the Democrats in exchange for the electoral votes from LA, FL, and SC (there may be a fourth state, but I can't remember). Reconstruction lasts longer, the Bourbon Democrats can't come to power, the South rebels a second time, but is put down harshly.

.......

So yeah, I can't think of a way for the South to "rise" again.

If the Blacks go Communist the Whites WON'T! There is no way they are going to wind up on the same sides as Blacks at that time. The more the Blacks turn to it the more the White will turn from. In this scenario the South is more likely to turn Fascist.

A communist revolution up north should do it, just have it go somewhat like Reds except the south isnt as socialist as the rest of the nation and ends up splitting with the rest of the country during the revolution. Admittedly this will be more like a rump USA but it would still probably consist of the same territory as the south.

The only POD before 1900 that would work would be if Vladimir Lenin is born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and even that won't push the dominoes to a Second Confederacy before 1958 at the latest...

From a geological standpoint, I'm not sure this would lead to any increase in the elevation of the southern United States...
From a political standpoint it disrupts the Federal government enough that the South could conceivably rise again and win in the chaos

Due to social-engineering attempts by U.S. government post-Civil War, blacks are resettled in the southern U.S. (not out of love for the blacks, but as a form of segregation). Several states gain a black majority but due to racism of the time the states' demands/rights/whatever are ignored by white U.S. government. The equivalent of the "Republic of New Afrika" concept arises a few decades earlier and is more popular than OTL.

Much more likely than Poor White Southerners joining the same movement as Blacks. That just wouldn't happen! The problem becomes how does the South stop the Communist North from reconquering it after the revolution. After all you would have Communist militancy on top of nationalism as a motive for the reconquest.
