How could the Cold War have ended earlier?.

So having France going the way of 1940 all over again would work huh? I can't imagine that would sit well with the other NATO countries and of the loyalist French government.
Without America most European armies would fall apart like leaves in the winds of fall.

The US is the rock in which European security in the Cold War stood-think of the Europeans like leaves and America a rock and the soviets wind/water-if the rock crumbles the leaves float away or are subsumed.

Khrushchev's secret speech almost caused the USSR to unravel in the 1950s. The only thing that stopped the Americans from intervening in that and pushing the Russians over the edge was the Suez Crisis.

I would like more information on that, how did Suez affect that?.

I imagine leftist French students and the CPF would launch a full insurrection ensuring the soviets have free roads and skies to the Atlantic.

I'd suggest that an assertion that inflammatory be backed up by some sort of fact, otherwise it looks like you're trolling. Trolling is bad. Don't troll.

No.

Other factors included- powerful Soviet military forces, lack of US interest in a world war, lack of desire of US to have to deal with an occupation of the USSR, Soviet nuclear firepower capable of destroying Western Europe and Northeast Asia and scoring some lucky shots on U.S. cities.

Let's put it another way. Not having the Suez Crisis (because the British and French exercise more common sense) does not cause western intervention in Hungary and WWIII (because it doesn't make the whole western alliance lose all common sense).

Japan never attacks the US keeping them out of the war, but still supplying Lend-Lease to the Allies. As a result postwar Europe and East Asia are dominated by the Soviets. Britain's postwar Labour government forms a special relationship with the USSR on the basis that the left can talk to the left. Due to Soviets taking an active role in the liberation on France the Communists become a truly significant force in French politics, securing an alliance between France and the USSR.

The US is briefly kicked into trying to counteract the growing Soviet hegemony, but due to the lack of allies and repeated setbacks in Asia and Latin America eventually decide to throw in the towel and return to isolationism.

World peace is maintained by a Franco-Anglo-Soviet alliance, and the global political consensus is about 10 steps to the left of OTL.
