Axis victory wouldn't get them all of Transylvania, only the northern half.

Green areas are Magyar, brown are Romanian, red are German. In the Vienna Award, Hungary also got the area between Szekely and Hungary proper to connect them.

Completely agreed. The CP and Axis victories and obvious and a quick Entente victory might result in the Entente being less eager to separate Transylvania from Hungary, especially considering that Romania has not yet entered the war on the side of the Entente.No War in 1914, CP Victory or quick Entente (1914) victory or Axis victory in WW2.

That would certainly be interesting.The Hungarians see the hopelessness of the task from the beginning. Once Conrad is defeated in August, 1914 the Hungarians declare independence, elect a Romanov to be their King and attack Austria
