How Could a Continued Line of Rashidun Rightly Guided Caliphs Happen?

How Could a Continued Line of Rashidun Rightly Guided Caliphs Happen after Ali? No Omayyad Line occurring...

My guess is that most likely, when the Uthman's reign were gathered in Palestine from Egypt to attack Medina, Uthman could have ordered his trusted governor Muawiyah to attack the rebels. The rebels carried a forged seal of the Caliph, but there was much proof that it was a fake. Ibn Saba, Mohammad ibn Abu Bakr, and Muhammad ibn Hudhayfa, and all the other instigators could have been captured and dealt with effectively.

Without those men (and other prominent rebels, such as Malik Ushtur etc.) there was not much opposition to Uthman's rule. He could have died, and passed the Caliphate onto Ali, and Muwaiyah never would have challenged Ali. His excuse for challenging Ali was the deaths of those who killed Uthman, but Uthman lives in this scenario. Muawiayah was a capable statesmen and diplomat, and a holder of the strong Byzantine frontier. He could have suceeded Ali without much trouble, or the Caliphate could have passed onto Talha ibn Obeidallah or Zubayr ibn Al-Awwam, both who were close companions of the Prophet, and able statesmen and pious men. And from thereonwards the Caliphate could remain an elected position, but for how long?

Your take?

or maybe a PoD from the First Fitna,

Ali passes the Caliphate onto Muawiyah, and he honors the treaty, and peacefully hands it over to Hassan

I think your first suggestion is quite good. Another POD would be if Muawiyah had been killed at Siffin. With Muawiyah dead wouldn't that essentially be the end of the First Fitna?

Once those who personally knew Muhammad begin to die off, I think someone will eventually establish a hereditary dynasty as Muawiyah did in OTL (but not TTL, obviously). His role could be filled at a later time by someone else, although I do not really know by who. Sorry.

there was still Amr ibn Al-As, the Khajarites and those who wanted blood for Uthman's death, such as Marwan (later Caliph Marwan)

There will definitely be those who wanted to seek revenge for Uthman's death, no question there.
However I think that if you do choose to use the battle of Siffin as your POD you could easily butterfly away both Amr and the Khajarites. Most historical accounts awknowledge that Ali was winning the battle, if Muawiyah never calls for arbitration , and the battle continued on, it is not unthinkable for Amr and Muawiyah to be killed in the fighting. Also if Ali never agrees to arbitration, it is my understanding at least that the Khajarites would never have rebelled as they were mainly upset about Ali agreeing to arbitration.
Also I really hope you do decide to make a TL out of this.

I am, and I am thinking of making a PoD, where Uthman sends Muawiyah to destroy the rebels, and Uthman was preparing a siege of Constantinople, but the empire fell into fitna. If it doesn't it could carry on, Ali, then Muawiyah then other Rashidun Caliphs.

What is going to stop Muawiyah from establishing another hereditary dynasty in this TL? Also I'm sorry if I'm being too nit-picky here i'm just really excited that someone is working on making a Rashidun TL.
