How can France win the battle of the Nile?

So how do you think France could win the battle of the nile? Also, in a scenario where France does win the battle, and let's say, Nelson is killed, how does that effect future events.

Given the condition of the French fleet, Napoleon having stripped it of basic food and water supplies, an RN defeat seems unlikely.

Nelson divided his fleet, half to the shoreside, half to the seaside.

It may be possible that a navigation error could have sent half the British fleet onto mudbanks where they would be sitting targets.

That said I can't see the Brit's being beaten as they had superior training and moral and basically just didn't expect to lose.

AFAIK the French got chuught by surprise (English attacking late in the afternoon whe it already went dark). If the English arrived just an hour later they "might" have waited for the next morning. This would have been time enough to recall the foraging parties (4k French sailors missed the battle because they were still on land).
