House of Valois-Angoueleme survives

I suppouse next Vasa generation would convert back to Lutheranism.

Hmm this is very true, so in the wider context, Sigismund Vasa dynasty remaining on the Swedish throne, Charles X of France being born and coming of age in the shadow of religious war, who might this young lad marry?

I'm sure this has been done before, but a question I had is this, if the House of Valois continued under either from the line of Charles IX of France or his brother Henry III of France, what consequences would there be?

In regards to domestic politics, I get the feeling that Henry III of Navarre, who became Henry IV of France otl, wouldn't remarry, as there'd be less chance of him becoming King of France, and therefore when he dies be it in battle or otherwise, the House of Bourbon-Vendome would die with him. And Navarre likely goes to his sister and whatever issue she might or might not have. But would this necessairily end the wars of religion that had been raging for the past few decades, or would it simply continue going?

Either way, what changes does a surviving House of Valois bring to France's foreign policy and the development of absolute monarchy that came under Louis XIII and Louis XIV?
I don't see why Henry III of Navarre would remain single and childless if he outlives his sterile wife in this TL. Even if he won't be King of France, he might still want to have a surviving son in order to continue the Bourbon-Vendome line.

As for the French Wars of Religion, it would depend on what the new monarch of France (either Charles IX or Henry III's son) would do--or alternatively what his regent would do if he was still young.

Also, in addition to the Bourbon-Vendome line (which will go extinct in this TL if Henry III of Navarre dies before his wife), there is also the Bourbon-Conde, Bourbon-Soissons, and Bourbon-Montpensier II lines.

Where’s he getting the annulment from? Where’s he find a bride?
