House of burgundy survives

a question, say Philip I duke of Burgundy did not die in the accident that got him otl, and managed to consummate his marriage and had issue and they had issue, what consequences could this have for burgundy and France? What appange would john II give his son who otl became duke of burgundy?

Philip the Bold had received the duchy of Touraine as his appanage, before he exchanged it/had to exchange it for the duchy of Burgundy. Philip I of Rouvres was betrothed to Margaret of Male, who ended up marrying Philip the Bold.

Interesting so if Philip I survived what does that change? Apart from Philip the bold being duke of touraine?

Do we know enough about Philippe de Rouvres' personality to speculate what sort of ruler he might have been?

As to children, I'd say it doesn't necessarily augur well. Philippe's the only son of three children, while his father is the only surviving son of 6 sons (4 of whom died before their first year) born to his grandfather; of his mother's children from her first marriage (Philippe and his two sisters), one died young, and from her second (to Jean II le Bon of France), none outlived infancy. OTL Margarethe of Male did relatively well with children - 3 surviving sons + 2 stillborn/died young, 4 daughters (one of whom died young) - here however, unless something drastic happens (like someone besides her husband is the father, perhaps) I don't know if she'll be blessed with so many children surviving infancy. But I could be wrong and it was more happenstance than genetics that killed the immediate family of Philippe de Rouvres.

Alright interesting, I suppose one could use some sort of timeline induced net to have their kids survive

As for personality I don't think we know much. Would having him be confident and a bit arrogant be a stretch?
