Horses not extinct in North America

I am curious about what people think would have happened if the horse had not died out in North America approximately 10,000 years ago.
Not much of a change is needed. Scientists believe that in Asia the horse was nearly wiped out when humans came around, combined with drastic changes in the environment, apparently only a few small herds survived to become the domesticated animal of today. So having a few North American horse herds a little more paranoid, or a little faster and surviving is possible.
I'll post a basic time line later this week or early next, but for now I'm curious about what people think would occur.

I think we had a thread about this recently. Basically, horses would give the natives a little more immunity to diseases when the Europeans finally show up, because they would have been exposed to more organisms from their animals. Can't remember the rest.

Thanks. I should have looked harder for that thread.
So I'll save this thread for my time line, and discuss the topic on the other link.
