Darn. I had always hoped the Kramer-Douglas ticket went on to win their election.

My Fellow Americans is included, in fact it takes up all the slots from 1989 to 2001.

I'm not sure how you can shoehorn Andrew Shepherd (The American President), except for maybe making Monroe Cole a one-term President.

Another possibility is Thomas Whitmore (Independence Day). But that might be too fantastical.

Gary Nance is 45th, so that gives us some numbers to work with:

1. George Washington (I) - 1789-1797
2. John Adams (F) - 1797-1801

Perhaps adding on, anyone who has seen the XIII miniseries and the new TV series running off from it spawns this list of Presidents

Bill Clinton (1993 - 2001)
George W Bush (2001 - 2005)
Sally Sheridan (2005 - 2007)* assassinated
Joseph Galbrain (2007 - 2008)* resigned
Bob Willis (2008 - 2009)

Walter Sheridan (2009 - 2014)* resigned
Benjamin Carrington (2014 - present)

I actually see Monroe Cole as a 1980's President, given the movie came out in 1994 and Cole was mentioned as being something like the most popular President ever. I could see a Gene Hackman cruising to re-election in 1984 over an incompetent oppponent. As for Air Force One, given it came out in 1997, I saw Marshall's Presidency as beginning in 1989 or 1993. I'd say you got "My Fellow Americans" rights as I saw Kramer as basically like the first George Bush.

But that's just my two cents.

I actually read the Manchurian Candidate, and I forgot the name of the man that whatshisface was running with. I'll have to at least watch the movie again as it was (incredibly) interesting.

Why isn't Josiah Bartlett on the list?

Hollywood movies, not Hollywood TV. At least that's what I assume.

Welcome to Mooseport came out in 2004, not 1994, and the film begins not long after he left the Presidency. It was set in the present day and there are a few early '00s items, if I recall correctly.

Maybe Mitchell was the Speaker of the House who replace President Matthews.

Maybe Art Hockstader was President Kegan's Vice President.

Need to work on this
