The only possible work arounds:
a) is generous use of the Trans Siberian Railway and trade with Japan (and perhaps indirect access via Japanese Shipping to South American nitrates and grain assuming Britain just doesn't buy them all up).
b) Helping the Soviet increase agricultural production through increased mechanization.
c) Peace with Britain within a couple of years.
a+c get blown up anyway when the USA enters the war.
