There have been many a threads about Hitler dying on XYZ date, I'm not sure if this kind of thing has been done to death. Yet.
Let's say Hitler has an accident on 18th August 1939. He falls down the stairs, trips over his dog, anything like that, it doesn't matter. All we need to focus on is the fact that he is a light coma. Doctors know that within a couple of weeks he will awake and a couple of month's later he will be out of hospital. The upshot is he is out for action for about 2 weeks and then not really with it for another 3 weeks.
What happens?
Is there a power grab by X or Y?
Does the war still start on 1st September?
Will there be a Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact?
As always over to you.
