Hitler dies, does whoever replaces him use WMD?

Say sometime during the war and before the allies reach Normandy, Hitler dies say in 1942, does it mean that who ever replaces Hitler starts using biological and chemical weapons?

If so how does this change the outcome of the war?

That's distinctly possible, especially if it's Himmler or Bormann. With Goering, I think it's less likely.

The end result is ghastly for Germany, on a Decisive Darkness, Anglo-American Nazi War, or How Silent Fall the Cherry Blossoms level, especially if the chemical weapons are used against civilians at all.

What would happen, other than the Allies respond with chemical weapons of their own? End result is definitely more casualties on both sides, including people dying rather horrible deaths, but Decisive Darkness levels? I'm not so sure, unless it leads to Operation Vegetarian being unleashed, or delays German surrender long enough to have one of the nukes dropped on Berlin or another city.

Vegetarian is dependent on whether the Germans use WMDs on Britain. If they do, all bets are off and Germany discovers that, when it comes to getting nasty, sane beast mad hands down, and that when it comes to evil weapons, few people are more inventive than the British.

And as Ive said before, WMD use against Britain gives Churchill and Harris literally carte blanche, and that would end very very badly for Germany, even if Vegetarian was vetoed for being batshit insane.
