oh no, no, no. Goring was the one who had most respect from the army and the politicians. He was the soldier, the skill(or so they thought). Therefor, he will try to make it political, perhaps come to an understanding with the British and French. He won't make it as bad a Hitler will i think. He listens better. He was still a giant ego though, but more egocentric than a megalomaniac.
Hess on the otherh and was a coward(referring to the flight to the UK), a pacifist. His fear will make him a much worse leader, not because he would back off the further aggression, but he will make even worse moves when feeling cornered.
