An idea I had earlier today. Excusing the flocks of a certain winged extraterrestrial mammal, suppose for the sake of argument that Hitler lives to stand trial at Nuremberg. Be it by the Russians capturing him or someone convincing him to give it up to the Americans, these details aren't particularly important.
What I'm wondering is how Hitler would approach being on trial at Nuremberg. Does he attempt to pin all the blame on his subordinates, or accept/admit that he ordered it? Does he deny knowledge of what happened, try to excuse his actions, or gloat in court about what he did? Does he put up an actual defense, or use the platform as a means to spout his hate? There's no question that whatever he does he'll hang at the end, but oftentimes the trial is just as interesting as the verdict.
