Hitler Assassinated In The 1920s/1930s

The book "Why The Allies Won" explains why the allies won and argues that the nazis came close to winning the war. Ambitious Hypothetical: Assume that one of the assassination attempts on Hitler in the 1920s or early 1930s was successful. That opens the door to more effective leadership for the nazi party: yourself. Assume you replace Hitler. How would you have waged the war more effectively, ensuring victory?

Specify a date, because its absolutely critical when Hitler dies, as that changes tons. Without Hitler gaining power is not really all that possible for his replacement, as there were several other people that were higher in the food chain as his replacement, such as Ernst Röhm or various other 'allied' right wing parties/groups.

Date Of Assassination?

I guess I should specify a date. How about 1933. It was the year Hitler became chancellor and in that year there were at least 10 attempts on his life. 1934 would also be a good year: he became dictator of Germany and there were 4 attempts in that year.

The thing is, a lot of the success Hilter had in the early years was because of his risk-taking, remove him and Germany's going to have a hard time getting into a position to have half as much success as OTL '39-'41.
