Hitler and Tesla

I saw someone here made about Hitler interested by HG Wells' scifi novels.
So, how about other?

If Hitler somehow read some of Nikola Tesla's designs and inventions like wireless electricity, VTOL aircrafts, strange machines, would he be interested by them and experiment- and future oriented Nazism?
Or he would hate them due to the fact that those visions weren't coming from an "Aryan" (or German)?

Thanks in advance!

I'd imagine that if there was a perceived need to adopt Tesla's ideas for warfare and whatnot that the Nazis would adopt them while trying to find their "Aryan" origins, i.e. "prove" that Tesla either copied them or simply ventured into what was ultimately unoriginal territory.

The Nazis were working on VTOL aircraft, and that's one of the sources for the "Nazi UFO" legend.

You do get that most Tesla mythology is bs and this stuff wouldn't have worked???

Well he got wireless electricity, and a form of remote control, and did a lot of work in developing transformers (which were in use everywhere already), but yes, there's a lot of mysticism surrounding him.

It doesn't matter. HG Wells designed the Martian tripods, and those flying machines in The War in the Air, right?
The important things is how Hitler looked at them. How's this be a catalyst for more wunderwaffen- or industy-based Nazi Germany in the war?

Do I get your drift in that you are suggesting Hitler goes down the V-weapons route earlier, as in 1939 or even before that?

I can not see this accomplishing anything other than throwing even more resources after the monumental amount already wasted on wunderwaffen, on the pipe dream projects that have zero chance of bringing any real result any time soon and certainly long after German industrial production is swamped by the avalanche of mass produced weapons from USA, UK and USSR.

Germany certainly needs less CGI coolness and more down to Earth weapon systems. TBH quest for wunderwaffen began as they realized that there is no way they could win the war by conventional means. Introducing it earlier might help. But help the Allies. If a significant proportion of German war production is dedicated to producing parts for earthquake machines or Tesla towers or whatever other system one conjures out of the mountain of bs that accumulated after Tesla, the less real and effective weapons they produce.

Wasn't he born in Hungary, I'm not sure about Hitlers Racial point of View with the Hungarians but if they are good he could convince himself he must be part Aryan because no "Jew could create such visions" or something else retarded.

You don't need a lot of Logic for a POD that revolves around someone who is insane.

Technically he was born in Hungary, since at the moment of his bearth the part of Croatia (a village near Croatian city of Gospic) where he was born belonged to Hungary.

Smiljan. And it wasn`t part of Hungary. The Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia always had this bizzare legal position within Austria-Hungary; thechnically fully autonomous, but really dependant on Vienna and Budapest for everything.

Nikola Tesla was a Serbian, born in Croatia in 1856 which was part of the Austrian Empire. confusing isn't it?

btw, Tesla was the original inventor of the light bulb. He also understood radio very well. and of course the inventor of the all famous Particle gun and Tesla coil.

C&C: red alert anyone?

The incandescent bulb was first demonstrated by James Lindsay back in 1835, though a sort of prototype, a coiled platinum filament was made by Humphrey Davy right back in 1802, and in 1809 he developed the carbon-arc lamp.
