Hindu Ackbar the Great

The moghuls were on the path of complete indianisation when Aurangzeb won the war of secession and ousted the most indianised to-be emperor ever-Dara shikoh. The islamisation of governance led to eventual fall of mughals and rise of marathas. One thing we should always remember-Akbar's court had 2 factions of advisors-iranis(from persia) and turanis(turks). So it was very difficult for akbar to convert to hinduism.A gradual change was the only option and the mughals were well on their way when Aurangzeb destroyed this composite culture.
