In two instances, the Classical Kingdom of Armenia was ruled by two members of the Herodian Dynasty (the same dynasty who effectively ruled Judea from 37 BC to roughly around 44 AD.)

The first, Tigranes V was installed as a client king of Armenia by Rome in the year 6 and reigned for 6 years, and was a distant relative to the Artaxian Kings (specifically he is descended maternally from Tigranes the Great). He briefly ruled alone but later shared his throne with Erato for the duration of his reign, until being deposed (for reasons that to this day remain unknown). Ultimately he never regained the throne, and was killed during Tiberius' reign of terror.

The second, Tigranes VI (the first cousin of Tigranes V), would later be installed by the Emperor Nero to the Armenian throne and reigned for roughly 3 to 5 years (58/59-61/63), coinciding with the Roman-Parthian War that was going on during this time period. He would lose his throne as a result of the peace following the conflict, and plans to restore him to the throne was crushed with the Jewish-Roman War that occurred three years later.

Now, details aside, could anything be done to restore and maintain a Herodian dynasty on the Armenian throne, and what would this kingdom look like?
