Hermes (as was) at Aleutian Campaign

We need a premise to have HMS Hermes at CFB Esquimalt RCN Dockyard in May 1942, in time to join the corvettes HMCS Dawson and Vancouver and the AMC HMCS Prince Robert for the Aleutian Campaign.

What I'm seeking is a Hermes vs. one or both of the carriers used in the Aleutians, Junyō and Ryūjō. This is not a thread about modifying Hermes with flatted aft deck, squared forward flight deck or crash barrier. We've got enough of those. No, in this case all we can do is change the aircraft.

My thinking is the US is glad to have Hermes because their own carriers at about to fight Midway. So the US flies up 18 or so folding Wildcats, pilots can move to FAA assignments.

Hermes is covering Langley in it's attempt to ferry aircraft to Timor and takes a couple of bomb hits but manages to survive. She is sent to the US West Coast for repairs and then up to Esquimalt to train aircrews for the new escort carriers beginning to enter service.
