Henschel 123 in production again?

What if after the Battle of Britain, Hitler decided to switch the majority of Ju 87 production to Hs 123s for close support?

The HS-123 had all of the same problems as the JU-87

1. Low speed
2. Light payload
3. Short range
4. Vulnerable to single engine fighters/can't operate in anything except conditions of total air superiority
5. Lack of development or improvement capability
6. Extremely vulnerable to AA fire

The smarter thing to do, after the Stuka proves itself to be outdated, is to temporarily shift close support to fighter bombers (ME-109F, ME-110 and later FW-190G) until the HS-129 comes on service AND give the HS-129 real engines instead of the pile of dog crap they made it fly with

edit: that isn't to say the aircraft didn't have a lot of kills and wasn't extremely effective in OTL vs its cost; just saying its not any better than a Stuka

The official Reichsplann was to use the Me-210. That's why they made a thousand before the oops came. The best laid plans of mice.
