    The Death of FDR
  • By August of 1945, FDR was barely alive. Even with everything going on he still held out. After Japan surrendered he told Wallace "This is the greatest moment in our lives. I've taught you all that I can. It will all be alright.". With that he went to Warm springs and died on September 13th 1945. Henry Wallace became the 33rd President, and so began an era of major reform.
