Henry VIII doesn't have the 1536 jousting accident. Everything else is the same until he divorces Anne of Cleaves. I doubt he marries Catherine Howard, but the main thing is he outlives his only son. For this scenario, he doesn't have anymore kids.

What does he do when Edward dies in 1553? Mary is a 37 year old maid and Elizabeth is a 20 year old maiden. Would he by Testament name Elizabeth heir after arranging a marriage for her? Would he leave the succession the same and arrange a marriage for both his daughters? Would he of allowed Mary to wed earlier or continue with his contentment to let her become an old maid.

I was thinking at this point he might try to bypass Mary because she is old and Catholic and Elizabeth is much more likely to give him a grandson before henry viii dies.
