Henry VIII in Japan?

This isn't a troll post, it's just an outrageous scenario. but what if Henry VIII accidentally started a civil war in england over splitting the church, and he loses, gets replaced by someone [Maybe even his wife?), and ends up in exile in sengoku Japan? would he join in the fighting with a few knights that joined him? would he try to become the shogun? overthrow the emperor? or just live as a rice farmer for the rest of his life like the "Jesus in Japan" theory?

Fleeing to Japan is already a massive stretch.Trying to be shogun/emperor with just a couple of blokes is downright asb or lunacy.

The thing is he's not trying to get to Japan, he washes up there on accident trying to go somewhere else a-la-columbus.

And the shogun scenario would only happen if he got support from some daimyo.

That would be hellish trip. It would last several months and really drunken crew of ship before they end to Japan. If Henry Tudor tries to be shogun Samurais will crush him and his small army.

Later Japanese records tell some odd-looking people led by fat strangely talking man who tried to be shogun/emperor. And European historians will wonder where to Henry VIII went.

It would make for a hell of an action-adventure story though. Just imagine, the wayward Henry Tudor, his brother Arthur happily married to Katherine of Aragon and has 4 young, strapping Tudor heirs in the royal nursery, while Henry I busy whoring, drinking, jousting, and otherwise just doing Henry things. So on a diplomatic mission to Portugal, Henry goes on a wild bender and finds himself on a Portuguese merchant ship suddenly heading to Asia. So Henry's adventures lead him to Asia and inexplicably to Japan, where he picks up the language, works as a mercenary, fathers some bastards, and years later, ends up back in England to find his brother dead, his nephew on the throne, and no one scarcely able to believe his story.

It would be a typically Henry thing to do though. He loved foreign adventures, jousting, hunting and generally anything where he got to kick a lot of ass. A crazy adventure to the other side of the world would be right up his alley. Imagine if he came home with a Japanese wife and a contingent of Samurai as his personal bodyguard.

Edit: Maybe a possible POD is Henry diving head first into the Age of Discovery?

So basically Henri Tudori as a possible Daimyo? if you have a young Henry who somehow ends up in Portuguese service, who ends up on a wild journey that sees him in Japan before the Onin War. Well as ASBtastic as this is I do not see Henry becoming shogun, but he could prove himself as good if boisterous warrior and presumably get his own land, and possibly become like the Ouchi or Chosokabe, clans that trace their lineage to supposed foreign royalty.
