Help with my TL

I am currently attempting a TL wherein Alfred the Great dies and the son of Rhodri Mawr Anarawd succeeds him, the timeline is in my sig.

I need some help withe people of the time, events and anything else that could be of use.

Also here's the shameless plug, anyone read it or would care to read it?

I most probably can't help you - but as a suggestion for this question:
Choose a meaningful title for the thread, as in
"TL help: Alfred the Great (xxxx-yyyy) and his contemporaries",
and more people with expertise in this topic will click on it on purpose,
rather than ignorant people like me just happening to drop in for curiosity ...

Moreover, perhaps you should also ask a initial bunch of questions in your thread-opening post -
otherwise even the most helpful genius could only answer
"I am omniscent - and I'm here for you!" before leaving for his/her holidays ...
